Tamago Day

Today is Tamago Day. I didnt know that GoPets have its own holiday. I just sent Tamago to my friends and wish them a Happy Tamago Day.

Oh It is almost here! I can not wait ...one of my two favourite holidays!

Some of the newer people out there might be wondering what is tamago day, most understand that tamago day is in celebration of the amazing versatile tamago and at only one 5 Green Shell each, what better way for all those rich or poor to join to ensure that any unfortunate pet will never have to ask for tamago again^^...

However many do not appreciate the true history of the event...

Tamago day dates back to the year of our gopets Twenty Zero Five, where this annual event has been held every year with out fail in celebration of its founder G Failure .

In the record books there are many records of the Tamago generosity made by G Failure, and many recorded quotes and although it is much debated by many Go scholars as to the most tamago-ated one, many agree that the whole issue of Tamago was wrapped up by the simple few words ... where G Failure said

...Thus showing the dedication to ensure no GoPet would ever have to ask for tamago again.

Prior to this G Failure was noted for many generous acts of individually wrapped Tamago being sent out to many users across GoPets, culminating in many random acts of kindness among all of Go Pets and the foundation of our giving community as we know it today.

As the recipient of 150 individually wrapped tamagos from G Failure and many more from others, the "oh no not more Tamago Federation" headed up by 3P was soon after quoted as saying

...Hence showing that the love spread through tamago was well received.

All the excitement surrounding tamago culminated in the official creation by G Failure of the offical Tamago Day which was set on the September 29th.

Of course one should also note that this was back in the day before foods stacked, and in those days sending one member 150 individually wrapped Tamagos was considered a most generous act, and hence many generous acts of such individually wrapped tamago giving were performed. Of course in recent year ....s .... due to commercialism often multiple tamago is sent in only one box, however to truely take part in this most wonderful tradition one can only truly re-live the thrill through individually wrapped boxes.

...and as for G Failure ...well some say G Failure is like Santa or the Easter bunny and spends the year making tamago and tamago customs in the North Pole, so who knows maybe when you wake up in the morning of the 28th you will awake to find a special something in your IKU box!
